TERTIARY EDUCATION MOBILE DATA BUNDLE
A special Tertiary Mobile Data Bundle service has been negotiated by the Ghanaian Academic and Research Network (GARNET) for the benefit of all students of member institutions of GARNET. GARNET is the National Research and Education Network (NREN) for Ghana. NRENs facilitate collaboration and sharing of knowledge in the education and research communities locally and globally.
This package also extends to staff and faculty of the institutions including staff of the secretariats of Vice Chancellors Ghana and the Council for Independent Universities (Private Universities)
The package is worth 5GB of Data, 150 minutes of Cross-net calls plus IDD, and 100 sms, every month, for a price of Ten (10) Ghana Cedis. It also permits users to make calls among themselves, access University digital resources, and a yet to be determined list of education and research related sites, at no cost.
Members of the community interested in signing onto the package are invited to follow the guidelines below.
· Select your log in option (Student or Staff)
· Students will be required to enter their Student ID and PIN
· Staff will have to enter their Staff ID and PIN
· After log in, click on Register/Pay Mobile Data Bundle
· Follow the instructions to complete the registration and payment
The deadline for registration is 20th February, 2020.
